Hull High School Hockey Player Luke Dunham Recognized After Scoring 100th Point

HULL -- Superintendent Judith Kuehn, Athletic Director Connor Duhaime and Varsity Hockey Coach Mike O’Donnell are pleased to announce that Hull High School junior captain Luke Dunham was recently recognized for scoring his 100th point for the Cohasset-Hull hockey team.

Dunham was recognized for his achievement at a ceremony on Jan. 27 during Cohasset-Hull’s game against Boston Latin Academy at Connell Memorial Rink in Cohasset. During the ceremony, Dunham was presented with a plaque, recognizing hisefforts and welcoming him to Hull’s 100 Point Club.

In hockey, a point is awarded to a player for each goal scored or assist earned.

On Jan. 20, Dunham scored three goals and tallied one assist during a game against Sandwich High School at Connell Memorial Rink in Cohasset. His assist on juniorShane Mulcahy’s goal, earned him four points for the night and 100 points throughout his career thus far.

Dunham is the first player to achieve the feat since Terence Doonan in 2014.

“On behalf of the entire team, I would like to congratulate Luke Dunham for reaching100 points, particularly as a junior,” said Coach O’Donnell. “In addition to this impressive accomplishment, Luke is a valuable, team-player that brings a strong presence each time he steps onto the ice.”
