HULL — Superintendent Judith Kuehn and Principal Michael Knybel are pleased to announce that Hull High School has been recognized as part of the U.S. News 2024 Best High Schools ranking.

Hull was ranked 78 out of 405 high schools in Massachusetts in rankings released on Tuesday, April 23. Schools are rated at both a national and state level.

Last year, Hull High School was ranked 119 out of 405 high schools in Massachusetts.

Rankings are those whose students demonstrated outstanding outcomes above expectations in math, reading and science state assessments, earned qualifying scores on an array of college-level exams, and graduated in high proportions.

About 25,000 public schools were considered across all 50 states. Rankings included public and charter schools, as well as those focused on STEM curriculum. Schools are ranked on their performance on state tests, and how well students prepare for college.“

This remarkable accomplishment reflects the exceptional commitment to education and the collaborative spirit that defines our district," Superintendent Kuehn said. “I am incredibly proud of the entire school community and the collaborative PreK – 12 effort by all educators that take place each day to make achievements, such as this, possible."

Out of 405 ranked high schools in Massachusetts, Hull High School was also listed at the top 5 percent for math proficiency and the top 20 percent for proficiency in reading/language arts. This rating also places Hull High School in the top 30% of South Shore high schools ranked in Massachusetts.
