Hull High School Recognizes Winter Athletic Programs

HULL — Superintendent Judith Kuehn and Athletic Director Connor Duhaime are pleased to recognize Hull High School’s winter sports teams. 

"I would like to congratulate all of our winter sports student-athletes on their achievements this season," Athletic Director Duhaime said. "Our student-athletes continue to serve as examples for their peers and for future Hull student-athletes through their dedication, determination and hard work." 

Basketball: 

The Hull Varsity Girls Basketball Team qualified for the state tournament and hosted a preliminary round game for the second year in a row. The team finished the season ranked 23 within the Massachusetts Division 5 Rankings. 

The Hull Varsity Boys Basketball team fought hard through their season, ultimately winning the senior night game. The team finished the season ranked 49 within the Massachusetts Division 5 Rankings. 

Both teams are mainly composed of young talent, eager to get back on the court.

Hockey: 

The Cohasset-Hull High School Boys Hockey Team finished the winter season during the state tournament on Feb 29 with a battle in the state tournament vs the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs Boys Ice Hockey Team. 

Two Hull players, junior captain Luke Dunham and senior forward Robbie Casagrande, both reached the impressive milestone of scoring 100 career points this season. 

Winter Track: 

The Hull Winter Track Team had a strong season with multiple student-athletes earning league honors and breaking personal records. 

The Hull Winter Track Team ended the season with the boys finishing 2-7 and the girls coming in second in the Tobin division with a 4-5 record.

Sophomore Chris Resnick, Sophomore Lawrence Bodley, Senior Veronica Fleming, Junior Lily Copenheaver-Smith and Junior Elsie Harper were named South Shore League All-Stars, while Harper also earned the Tobin Division MVP Award. The team will continue to compete into the spring season. 

Gymnastics: 

The Hingham/Hull High School Gymnastics Team's second year as a co-op was a season of growth and development as the team gained multiple new members. This season the team won five of the meets they competed in. 

Sophomore Leah Frady and Junior Sofi Zalduondo were named team captains for the 2024-2025 season. 

"The Hingham-Hull Gymnastics team had a great season," said Gymnastics Coach Alexandra Boyd. "They won against every team in the league at least once and placed third at the Patriot League Championship Meet."
