Hull Memorial Middle School Students Inducted into National Junior Honor Society

HULL — Superintendent Judith Kuehn, Memorial Middle School Principal Anthony Hrivnak and National Honor Society Advisor Christine Cappadona are pleased to announce that several Memorial Middle School students were recently inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.

 

The 2023 National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony took place on Monday, May 8 at Memorial Middle School. The event recognized the exceptional middle school students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship. Families, teachers, and administrators gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the 31 inductees.

“I want to congratulate all 31 students who were recently inducted into the Memorial Middle School National Junior Honor Society,” said Principal Hrivnak. “This ceremony serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication these students have put forward all year.”

 

 

The event featured a saxophone performance by Hull High School senior Peter Menice and speeches from school administrators and current National Honor Society members.

 

During the ceremony, 17 eighth graders and 14 seventh graders were welcomed to the prestigious organization. Five Hull High School National Honor Students participated in reviewing the five qualities of the National Junior Honor Society for each student. Inductees then lit a candle and recited the pledge to uphold the high purposes of the National Junior Honor Society.

 

A reception in the auditorium immediately followed for students and families to celebrate. Light refreshments and photo opportunities were also provided.
