HULL — Superintendent Judith Kuehn is thrilled to share that the district's leadership team is ready and excited to welcome students and staff back to school this month.

Teachers will return to school on Monday, August 29, and students will return on Wednesday, August 31.

Custodial staff districtwide have been working hard over the summer to ensure all school buildings are prepped, cleaned and ready for the return of students and staff. Custodians and the technology department have even gotten an extra hand this summer from several current and former Hull Public Schools students who helped to prepare buildings and technology.

The main office and guidance office at Hull High School have also been restyled and reorganized for a fresh look and new technology was installed in the main office to facilitate more efficient communications with students and families.

Additionally, the district welcomed several talented new administrators and staff members to the schools over the summer, and will host a comprehensive three-day teacher induction program next week.

On Monday, August 15, Hull High School held its first back-to-school event welcoming athletes and their parents and introducing new staff members, including new Principal Michael Knybel and Assistant Principal Julie Burke, as well as new School Resource Officer Joe DelVecchio.

"Our motivated leadership team is eager to have students and staff return to school shortly, and the enthusiasm is amazing!" Superintendent Kuehn said. "We welcomed new faculty and staff members this summer, and are excited for our students and families to get to know them, as well as reconnect with our dedicated returning educators. Hull is an excellent school district with so much to celebrate and we are ready to show our Pirate Pride as we begin a new school year and celebrate the return of our wonderful students, devoted families and excellent teachers."
