HULL — Hull Public Schools is inviting local businesses and families to sponsor signs at Hull High School's Finlayson Field and Emma Ryan Community Track with proceeds benefiting the facility.

Mesh field signs, which will be branded with the businesses' logos, are available for a one-year commitment and first-time purchase of $1,200. Those who choose to renew after a year receive a discounted rate of $1,000. The funds raised go towards the field bond payment, field maintenance, and future turf replacement.

Local families, community members and alumni may also sponsor a banner fitted with a message of their choosing, including words of congratulations or recognition, and more.

Over the last few years, the field -- which was completed in 2019 -- has hosted eight statewide soccer tournaments, a regional baseball tournament, two regional lacrosse jamborees, and more than five state playoff games. Additionally, the field is home to the Hull Pirate Football Team, which recently won the Division 8 State Championship following an undefeated season.

The field also hosts four weeks of summer camps annually and has daily activity from local youth and high school teams and recreational enthusiasts.

The field has been highlighted in the national NOBULL advertising campaign, which featured Patriots quarterback Mac Jones. It has been featured in national publications, including USA Lacrosse Magazine, Coach and Athletic Director Magazine, as well as local and regional publications.

"Funds from these advertisements support our facility while simultaneously increasing local businesses' visibility in the community," Athletic Director Connor Duhaime said. "Given the interest in our fantastic field and the foot traffic it receives on a daily basis, these advertisements will surely reach an audience of Hull and beyond."
