HULL — Superintendent Judith Kuehn and Principal Kyle Shaw are pleased to announce that Jessica Scott has been selected as the new intermediate assistant principal for Lillian M. Jacobs School.

Scott will begin in her new role on July 1. She will work alongside Principal Shaw and primary Assistant Principal Lindsey Rajan.

“We are thrilled to announce that Jessica will be filling this position,” Superintendent Kuehn said. “Her experience and knowledge in education make her a valuable asset to our school community, and we are excited to welcome her into an administrative role.”

Scott, a Marshfield resident, has 12 years of educational experience, serving in a variety of teaching roles.

She currently serves as a third-grade teacher at Hull's Jacobs School. Prior to this role, Scott served as a first- and fifth-grade teacher at the Jacobs School and as a fifth-grade teacher for Marshfield Public Schools.

While teaching at Jacobs school, Scott implemented a variety of curriculum, collaboratively worked on behavioral management strategies and contributed to developing a program that enabled educators to observe and learn from their peers.

Scott holds a master’s degree in elementary education from Curry College, a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Franklin Pierce University, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in reading, and a Principal/Assistant Principal Licensure.

“Jessica is a student-centered teacher who is dedicated to helping them grow and succeed,” Principal Shaw said. “She is focused on providing a welcoming learning environment and we are confident that she will continue to support Jacobs students in the position of intermediate assistant principal.”
