Meet the Superintendent Candidates on January 10

Our dedicated screening committee has come to the very difficult decision of selecting the final three candidates for the Superintendent position. The finalists' names will be announced at the Monday, January 8th School Committee meeting.

The School Committee will be conducting interviews for all three candidates as well as a site visit to Hull on Wednesday, January 10th. Candidates will first rotate through three community/staff forums in the afternoon then will have an hour interview with the School Committee in the evening.

We would like to invite the community, students and staff to meet our three superintendent finalist candidates at the community/staff forums. If you are interested in meeting with the final candidates, asking questions and sharing your insights, please plan to join the Candidate Forum sessions at Hull High School from 3:00pm - 4:30pm on Wednesday, January 10th.

The interviews in the evening will be an open forum and all community members are invited to email their feedback and thoughts to Maggie Ollerhead, mollerhead@town.hull.ma.us. She will compile your feedback for the School Committee after the interview day. All input will be considered. Please understand, the School Committee will not be able to respond to emails directly.

The forum schedule will be broken up into three sessions to ensure each stakeholder will have an adequate opportunity in their group to meet our candidates. Please come prepared and join the session that best suits your role in our community. Each session will be 25 minutes.

The schedule is as follows:

3:00-3:25 Candidate 1 (Students), Candidate 2 (Staff), Candidate 3 (Community)
3:30-3:55 Candidate 2 (Students), Candidate 3 (Staff), Candidate 1 (Community)
4:00-4:25 Candidate 3 (Students), Candidate 1 (Staff), Candidate 2 (Community)

4:30-5:00 Break

5:00-6:00 Interview Candidate #1
6:15-7:15 Interview Candidate #2
7:30-8:30 Interview Candidate #3

On behalf of the School Committee we appreciate our community members and look forward to your participation in this very difficult decision.

We are stronger together.
