Available Scholarships

Scholarships will be posted as they are received from donors.

Alison Schnipper Memorial Award: This award is given in memory of Hull High School student, Alison Schnipper.  It is presented to a graduating senior with the rank of #16.  

Allison M. Haake Memorial Scholarship: This award is given in memory of teacher Allison M. Haake.  It is given to a graduating senior who plans to pursue a major in education.  The donor selects the recipient in consultation with the guidance department.  No application is required.

The Beatrice Satter-Kaye Memorial Award: This award is given to two students: one who has overcome a physical or emotional challenge, and one who has helped someone else to overcome a challenge.  The Hull High School Scholarship Committee will select the student on behalf of the donor. Students may apply via Google Form (on their class website) or by visiting the guidance office.

Carol & Frank Infusino Continuing Education Scholarship: (2) scholarships will be given to: one male and one female student. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, community service, exceptional character, participation in school activities and clubs, and financial need.  Recipients will be chosen by the Hull High School Scholarship Committee.

The Catherine Coccimiglio Nantasket-Hull Rotary Club Scholarship Fund "Service Above Self": The Nantasket-Hull Rotary Club awards scholarships on the basis of volunteerism, good citizenship, and scholastic ability, record of leadership, sportsmanship, initiative, and extracurricular activities.  Please see the attached application for full details.  The deadline to apply is April 15th.

Danielle Struzziery Memorial Scholarship: This award is given in memory of Hull High School student Danielle Struzziery.  Students are encouraged to apply by responding to the essay prompt attached below.  Deadline for submission to the guidance office: April 19, 2024.

Dorie Mahoney Saville Memorial Award: This award is given to a well rounded student who hopes to become an elementary school teacher.  Recipient will be chosen by the Hull High School Scholarship Committee.

Emma B. Ryan Memorial Scholarship: This award is given in memory of Hull High School student, Emma Ryan.  Applicants must fill in the short application below and submit a brief essay to be considered.

Ernest Leonardi Memorial Award: This award is given in memory of former Hull High School teacher, Ernest Leonardi.  The recipient will be an academically successful student with a love of foreign languages.  The Hull High School Scholarship Committee will determine the recipient in conjunction with the Foreign Language Department.

Hull Firefighters Local 1657 Scholarship:  Students must be enrolled in an accredited college in one of the following degree programs: fire science, nursing, or para-medicine, or be enlisted in any one of the following United States Armed Forces: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, or Navy.  A link to the application is below.

Hull Garden Club Annual Scholarship: This scholarship is available to a graduating senior who has been accepted into an accredited school for the fall semester and will study one of the following subjects: ecology, biology, environmental studies, horticulture, forestry, floriculture, landscape design or architecture, city planning, land management, botany, allied studies, or conservation.  The application is attached.  Application deadline: April 15, 2024.

Hull PTO Awards:  This award is given to the son or daughter of an active Hull PTO member in good standing (a member who has paid his/her dues by Dec. 31st of the year prior to the student's graduation year).  The PTO will send applications directly to eligible students.  They are due back to the PTO by April 12th.

Hull Scholarship Fund:  Scholarships are awarded to the top 4 females and top 4 males in the graduating class. No application is required.

Hull Teachers Association Scholarship: This award is given to graduating students of HTA members.  No application is required.

Jason Mazzeo Memorial Scholarship:  This scholarship is given to a college-bound male or female basketball player, who is also a good student.  The recipient will be chosen by the Hull High School Scholarship Committee.  No application is required.

John Clasby Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is given in memory of John Clasby, and is awarded to a student who has overcome hardship but is determined to pursue further education upon graduation.  Applicants are encouraged to share their stories and why they've chosen the educational direction that they have.  Stories may be sent to jgalluzzo@town.hull.ma.us by April 15th. 

Joseph C. Doniger Theatre Arts Scholarship:  This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who:

  • Participated in at least one production in his/her junior and/or senior year;
  • Was actively engaged in theatre arts in Hull High School;
  • Had a strong work ethic and commitment to theatre arts in various aspects; and
  • Well represented the theatre arts program.

All applicants must fill out this application in its entirety and email it to TheatreJoe@comcast.net by noon, on Wednesday, March 20th.  Applicant’s essay may be typed and attached to the form. This form may be scanned and sent via email.  Late applications will not be accepted.  The application can be found in the links below.

Kelly-ann Resnick Memorial Scholarship:  Available to a graduating senior who'll attend Boston College, or who is ranked #5 in the class by GPA.  Deadline: N/A

Mary F. Keaveney Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is offered in memory of Mary F. Keaveny, a long-time teacher in Hull.  Eligible students must be accepted into a program beginning in the fall of 2024, with an emphasis on teaching.  Please see the application below for complete details and deadlines.

Michael F. Powers Memorial Award: This award is given in memory of Michael F. Powers, an HHS alumnus, who loved coaching youth sports.  It is awarded to a member of the senior class who plays football, is from a single-parent home, and has overcome adversity.  The donor will select the recipient.  No application is required.

Nantasket Beach Salt Water Club Scholarship in Memory of Eddie Babcock: This scholarship is available to a graduating student related to a member of the NBSWC.  If no students meet this requirement, then it will be available to any senior enrolled in a post-high school educational program. Please see the application below.

Paul F. Dunphy, Jr. Memorial Award:  This award is given in memory of Paul F. Dunphy, Jr., and is available to students entering into the trades.  If no student is planning a career in the trades, it will be awarded to a student in pursuit of a nursing career. The recipient will be chosen by the Hull High School Scholarship Committee.  No application is required.

Paula Vinton Memorial Scholarship:  This award is given in memory of Paula Vinton to a hard-working student, with a caring nature and integrity.  It's open to students entering college or the trades.  The recipient will be chosen by the Hull High School Scholarship Committee.  No application is required.

Pilgrim Skating Arena Merit Based Scholarship: Pilgrim Skating Arena in Hingham is offering merit scholarships to high school seniors with plans to further their education after graduation.  You DO NOT need to be a skater or a hockey player to apply.  Pick up an application at the arena and return it by April 5th to be considered.  

Robert & Marylou Galluzzo Scholarship: Is offered to a student entering into military or civil service, or who plans to pursue a career in teaching.  The student will be chosen by the donors in coordination with the guidance office.

Wallace and Elinor Richardson Scholarship: Is offered to a top student-athlete (male or female).  Recipient will be chosen by the Hull High School Scholarship Committee.
