Mrs. King - Grade 5

Room C201

Update for Remote Learning!

All Reading and Writing work is now posted in Google Classroom!  You are familiar with using Google Classroom and submitting work, as you have done it in Mrs. Ryan's room extensively!  It will take a little time to get used to it, but we've got this!  The first thing you need to do is join my Google Classroom.  Keep in mind that Ms. Mellyn and Mrs. McCarthy may also be using Google Classroom and you will need to join each teacher's class using a separate code.

To join, sign into your Google account; click on Google Classroom; click on "join a class" and enter the code, or click the + sign and join a class.  The codes for Reading classes are different for each homeroom, so if you are in Mrs. King's homeroom, use this code: ufr4ai7; if you are in Ms. Mellyn's homeroom, use this code: zatdlfw, and if you are in Mrs. McCarthy's homeroom, use this code: 6aj3rwl.

If your family does not have a device or internet service, send your homeroom teacher an email so we can make alternate arrangements for you:  Mrs. King mking@town.hull.ma.us, Ms. Mellyn nmellyn@town.hull.ma.us, Mrs. McCarthy dmccarthy@town.hull.ma.us.

Thank you for taking ownership of your learning, and continuing to be your best selves!  I know you are helping your families do whatever they can to stay well and safe!

STUDENTS and PARENTS:  See the "QUICK LINKS" tab to the lower left to watch a video Google Classroom for Parents, and see information for additional reading, and links to Tool box lessons!

2. Read 30 minutes each night.
3.  Get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and rest.
4.  Commit yourself to live the Jacobs School Core Values -
