WHAT:

For the first time ever, the Hull Public Schools Theatre Arts Program has recorded their spring musical and will stream the performance for all to see.

“We believe that these streams will be the safest and most efficient way to present these shows, and the students in the Theatre Arts Program have all been working incredibly hard to make this show work despite all of the challenges and obstacles that the pandemic has brought,” Director Barkon said. “This is something we have never done before, and we hope the members of the Hull Public Schools and the entire Hull community will show their support and view one of the performances later this month.”

'Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr.' is a musical based on the popular 1970s cartoon series, and is suitable for all ages.

Offering online streams of musicals has been a popular alternative to in-person performances during the pandemic this year.

“Due to COVID-19, we needed to make changes to our live in-person performances, so we decided to do an online stream and bring the theater program to families and students at home,” said Music Theatre International President and Chief Executive Officer Drew Cohen. “I am extremely proud of how these students adapted to the change and all the effort that they put into this show.”
