What does a Paraprofessional Do???

Paraprofessionals provide support to students throughout the school day.  This includes in the general education classroom as well as in small groups which are specially designed to meet the needs of the student.  Some of the primary responsibilities include pre-teaching and re-teaching lessons, assisting with organization, collecting data, implementing behavior plans and helping with communication between teachers.  Our goal is to always foster independence in the student. Paraprofessionals are entitled to benefits, including health insurance.
