Principal’s Newsletter – May 2021

Dear Hull High School Community,

May is one busy month!  Below are the highlights...

May 3rd begins two weeks of AP testing.  Students should check with their AP teacher(s) regarding test dates and times for their particular class.

The ELA MCAS test is on May 12th and 13th for all grade 10 students.  Sophomores should arrive ON TIME to school since testing will begin at the start of the school day.  The Grade 10 Math MCAS test will take place on June 1st and 2nd, and the Grade 9 Science MCAS will take place on June 4th.

Mid-term progress reports close on May 14th for all underclassmen and post on the Aspen Portal on May 19th.

May 17th is an early release day.  Dismissal is at 12:00 in order for our staff to participate in professional development.

Senior Spirit Week will be held from May 17th – May 21st and each day will be a different theme.  Seniors will also have special events that week including food truck day, pizza party day, catered senior breakfast, field day, and a motivational speaker.  More details regarding senior events and graduation will be sent to seniors and their families soon!

Senior final exams will take place the week of May 24th.

Our theatre arts program will present through online streaming, Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR. on May 15th and May 16th at 7pm.  Streams are available for purchase of $21 for a family at https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/52460.  For more information, email Ian Barkon at ibarkon@town.hull.ma.us or visit the Facebook Page, HULL PUBLIC SCHOOLS THEATRE ARTS.
