Good afternoon,
Thanks to the hard work of the Custodians, Bill and the Hull DPW, we plan to welcome staff and students back to Hull Public Schools on Wednesday following a regular school day schedule, which includes the Jacobs School early release. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. The forecast for tonight is for on+off snow showers: Accumulation of about an inch. Double check in the morning in case this turns into something bigger and we need to update our plan.
2. Allow a little extra commute time and exercise caution while traveling.
3. Think of our parking lots as giant "crosswalks". Yield to pedestrians and watch for people when you least expect them.
4. Both campuses are posted for 20 MPH. An overachiever goes slower than 20. Be an overachiever!
5. Our school buses are driven by professional drivers with years of experience. They sit high, are heavy, and navigate snowy roads pretty well. When in doubt, take the School Bus.
Look forward to seeing everyone back at school tomorrow! Our last day of school is now extended to Thursday, June 18th.
