School Work for the Week of April 27th-May 1st
SOCIAL STUDIES AND SCIENCE
All work for the week has been posted into our Google Classrooms. Students have the choice of several videos to watch and then there is a task sheet that accompanies the Social Studies and the Science assignments. Students can use their gmail to email their finished work. Remember there are articles assigned on ReadWorks and I have provided an extensive list of books and resources for the students to investigate in their Epic Books Account. In Social Studies ,the reading assignments and videos address the American Revolution and the forms of Government. In Science the assignments cover Climate, Forms of Energy, and States of Matter, Habitats, and Adaptations. There are also two books in Epic Books that provide easy at home Science Experiments for those who are interStudents will be working on a poetry unit and the materials for the unit can be found on https://www.getepic.com. . Students have individual log-in codes for Stemscopes, Readworks,and Epic Books. The New England Aquarium is providing daily educational learning experiences and National Geographics for Kids is now accessible for all during the distance learning of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
